Babysitter

While preparing for our trip to CA, Ashlyn questioned who would take care of Daddy since he was not going with us. I told her he would go to eat dinner at Popa and Nana's a few times, but that he would take care of himself.

(Leaving the house to go to the airport)

A - OK, mommy, I think I'm all ready for the plane.
M - Good. Make sure you have your backpack.
A - I've got it. Now, all we have to do is make one stop at Nana's and then we can go to the airport.
M - Nana's? Why do we need to stop at Nana's first?
A - W Mommy, we have to drop Daddy off there before we can leave.

I guess she thought I meant that Nana was "babysitting" for us. :)
